Podcast and video podcast production in Connecticut
We plan, record and edit audio and video podcasts for businesses, organizations and independent hosts, with episodes that sound clear and look consistent from one session to the next.
What podcast production includes
A podcast is a long conversation that has to stay easy to listen to. Production is the work that makes that possible: deciding the format, capturing clean sound, filming it well if the show is also on video, and editing so the finished episode keeps its pace.
We work on shows hosted by businesses, associations, founders, professionals and creators. Our scope is planning, recording and editing. Before booking, we agree the finished file formats, who uploads episodes to your hosting platform, and whether you want any help with publishing, so everyone knows who is responsible for each step after the edit.
Audio podcast
Microphone-led recording for listeners, edited for dialogue clarity and consistent levels.
Video podcast
Multi-camera or single-camera filming alongside the audio, edited into full episodes for video platforms and your website.
Interview or panel format
One host with guests, two co-hosts, or a small panel, each with its own microphone and camera plan.
Branded series for an organization
A recurring show for a company, practice or association, kept on-message and consistent episode to episode.
Planning the show before the first recording

A short planning conversation prevents most problems. We want to know who the show is for, how long episodes run, how many people speak, and where it will be published.
Format and length
Solo, interview, co-hosted or panel. Fixed episode length keeps editing predictable, while a flexible length gives more room for conversation.
Guests and scheduling
Who is joining, whether they record in person or remotely, and how guests receive instructions before the day.
Look and sound
For video, the backdrop, framing and number of cameras. For audio, how close the microphones sit and what the room allows.
Episode run of show
A simple outline with introduction, topic segments and closing, plus a plan for retakes or pickups when someone stumbles.
Questions before you decide?
Share the format, the number of speakers and where you plan to publish, and we will propose a recording plan.
Cameras, audio and the recording location
We choose cameras and microphones to suit your room, your number of speakers and how polished you want the result. Recording usually happens at your office or space, or at another suitable room we agree together, and the location, space and equipment needs are confirmed during planning.
Room and noise
A quiet room with soft surfaces is far easier to record than a hard-walled conference room. We look at photos or a quick walkthrough and tell you what to adjust, such as turning off ventilation or closing windows.
Microphones for each speaker
Separate microphones keep voices clear and make editing easier, because one person can be adjusted without affecting another.
Camera angles
A wide shot and individual shots give an editor variety. A simpler single-camera setup works for a smaller budget or a more relaxed look.
Power, internet and access
We ask about outlets, parking, loading and building rules so setup is smooth, and agree how long we need the room beforehand.
Editing and episode deliverables
Editing shapes the listening experience. We remove long pauses and distractions, even out volume, clean up background noise where the recording allows, and cut between cameras on video episodes. We confirm the number of edit rounds and the final formats in advance.
- Finished episode audio files in the format your hosting platform accepts.
- Finished episode video files for your channel or website when the show is on video.
- Optional cover frame or thumbnail stills pulled from the recording.
- Optional short vertical clips cut from each episode for social platforms.
- Optional trimmed audio or transcript-ready files, when agreed up front.
Optional social clips and repurposing
A long episode can supply several short clips. We recommend choosing clip moments while planning the show, such as a strong answer, a surprising number or a story, so the footage is framed for vertical cutting. Clip count, length and captions are agreed ahead of time, and posting them is separate from production.
Repeat sessions and batch recording
Shows that record several episodes in one sitting save setup time and keep sound consistent. We can plan a batch day with breaks, wardrobe changes and guest turnover, or a regular weekly or monthly session. We can note the camera and audio setup so a returning session is matched to the last one.
Podcast production and audio post-production
If your recordings are already made and the audio needs work, the sound design and audio post-production page covers dialogue cleanup, mixing and exports as a standalone service. Podcast production covers the recording and editing together.

Common questions
Where is the podcast recorded, and is a studio available?
The recording location, the space and equipment it needs, and any rental arrangements are confirmed during inquiry, based on your show and room.
What about hosting and distribution?
We deliver recorded and edited episode files. Hosting, distribution and upload responsibilities should be specified in your brief so they are agreed before booking.
Can you record a video podcast and an audio podcast together?
Yes, one session can capture both. We agree on camera and audio plans so each version works.
Can guests join remotely?
Remote guests can be included, though audio quality depends on their connection and microphone. We discuss the options at inquiry.
Will you create social clips?
Short clips from each episode are an optional deliverable, with the number and format agreed in advance.
