January business content refreshes photography in Connecticut
Outdated photos are easy to spot: former employees, old logos, a previous office. Legend Photo & Film plans January refresh photography across Connecticut as a production, with a shot list and a schedule, so your team headshots, workplace images and website visuals all feel current and consistent.
Team and leadership headshots that match
Headshots work best when they look like they belong together. We agree a backdrop or location, framing, and a color approach before the session, then photograph each person in a short slot. We guide posture and expression calmly, offer a few options for each person, and keep the order simple so people return to their desks quickly.
- One consistent background and crop across the whole team
- Short individual sessions with a few options per person
- Group images of departments or leadership when requested
- A repeatable setup for new hires later in the year
Images of the workplace, services and products
Website visitors want to see where and how you work. We photograph people at work, the reception area, meeting rooms, tools and products, choosing angles that look natural and not staged. Anything that has changed since your last photos, such as a renovated space or a new service, goes on the shot list first.
Questions before you decide?
Tell us which images feel out of date. Share your goals, timing and where the content will be used so we can prepare a scoped quote.
How we plan and cover your refresh photography
A good photo refresh is mostly planning. We organize people, places and light in advance so the session is quick and the results are consistent.
Before the session
We ask what is outdated, who needs a portrait and where the images will be used. We review your current photos, agree the shot list, location and deliverables, and prepare a scoped quote. We ask for one contact, a staff list and any brand colors, and we explain what we handle on the day.
Preparing your team
We send simple guidance on wardrobe, such as solid colors and what to avoid, as suggestions only. We give each person a time slot and a short explanation of what to expect. On the day we guide posture and expression calmly, so nervous people feel at ease and nobody is asked to pose in a way that feels forced.
Coordinating the space
We work with your office or facilities contact on access, a room for portraits and the areas to be photographed. We check window light, ceiling lights and background items, and agree which screens, documents or whiteboards should be cleared. If the building has rules about equipment, we confirm them in advance.
On the day
We arrive for the agreed setup, test light and color, and photograph in the planned order. We keep each portrait slot short, and capture workplace images between them. If the schedule changes, we adjust. When portraits and workplace images need to happen together, additional operators are planned rather than asking one photographer to cover both.
Selection and delivery
We explain how images will be selected, edited and retouched, and agree how each person chooses a favorite. We set review and delivery checkpoints and the file sizes for web, print and social use. Usage needs are written into the scope, so you receive images that are ready to publish.
Light, color and a clean look across rooms
Offices mix window light, overhead fixtures and screens, which can cast uneven color on skin and walls. We check each location, balance the light, and use soft supplementary lighting where the space allows it. Backgrounds are checked for clutter, personal items and screens before we photograph, so the images need little correction afterward.
Planning the session around your day
An efficient session means short, predictable slots. We ask for a staff list and preferred times, then build a schedule that avoids meetings and customer calls. If portraits and workplace images need to happen at once, we discuss a second operator. Video can run in the same visit when you want matching content.
Delivery for web, print and social use
Once selections are made, you receive web-ready and print-ready images in the sizes you need for the site, social profiles, proposals and printed material. We discuss usage up front so cropping and file sizes suit the places the images will appear. Our overview and videography pages explain how photography fits with a full refresh.

Common questions
How long does each person need for a headshot?
We plan short individual slots and confirm the length when we know the group size and setup. Most of the schedule is keeping people moving smoothly, so we send each person a time and ask them to arrive ready.
Can you photograph people who work remotely or in different offices?
We can discuss multiple locations or a separate session for those people. We aim to keep the same backdrop, framing and color approach, so remote and in-office staff still look like one team.
Can we add workplace and product images to the same session?
Yes. We build a shot list for headshots, workplace scenes and products or services, then schedule them around your day. If they need to run at the same time, we discuss a second operator.
How do I get a quote for refresh photography?
Share your goals, timing and where the content will be used so we can prepare a scoped quote. Include the number of people and locations, and we will confirm the schedule and any added operators at inquiry.
