Business year-in-review photography in Connecticut

Photography gives a year-in-review its people and its places. Legend Photo & Film creates new portraits of leadership and staff, images of the workspace as it looks today and story stills that suit a report, website or client update. The work is planned with your team and available throughout the year.

Portraits that represent the team now

A review is a good time to refresh how the business looks. We make portraits of leadership and staff in a consistent style, whether they are in a studio-style setup in your office or at their usual workspace. We keep each sitting short, give clear direction and let people check a frame if they would like to.

  • Individual portraits of leadership and staff
  • Small-group and department portraits
  • Candid frames of people at work
  • Consistent backgrounds for web and print use

The workplace and the work

Images of the space and the work give context to the year: the shop floor, kitchen, studio, storefront or job site. We look at the light, tidy what can be tidied with your permission, and photograph details such as tools, products and finished work.

If customers or the public are present, we discuss in advance what can be shown and where it is better to keep them out of frame.

How we plan and cover your year-in-review photography

Good portraits and workplace images come from a clear shot plan, so we sort out the details with you before anyone steps in front of the camera.

  • Understanding the purpose

We ask where the images will appear, who will see them and which people and places need to be included. We agree on the list of deliverables, the schedule and the locations, and ask for one contact on your side. You provide the milestone list; we handle the shot plan and the session.

  • Helping people feel at ease

Many people are uneasy in front of a camera. We give simple direction, show a frame when it helps and keep each sitting brief. We suggest, but never require, what to wear, and we do not ask a team to pose for candid frames. The order of people is shared ahead of time.

  • Coordinating space and schedule

We work with your office or facilities contact on the best rooms, window light, access and times when areas are quiet. We note any signs, screens or documents that should not appear. Where portraits and other activities overlap, we plan the order to keep your day moving.

  • Photographing on the day

We arrive for the agreed setup, check light and color and work through the shot list. Where video interviews are happening at the same time, we agree on positions so neither disrupts the other. If two places need photographing at once, an additional operator is discussed.

  • Selection and delivery

We explain how frames are selected, how color and retouching are handled and which file formats you will receive. We agree on a review checkpoint and on how the images will be used. Anything shown in a caption, such as results, is supplied and approved by you.

Story stills for reports and updates

Some milestones need a single strong image: a new location, a team celebration, a completed project. We plan these around your list of milestones and photograph them as events or staged moments that stay true to what happened. Images are prepared for the uses you tell us about, such as a web page, an annual report or an email to clients.

  • Milestone images

Stills tied to the achievements you want to mark.

  • Behind-the-scenes

Candid frames that show how the work is done.

  • Group moments

A team portrait made efficiently so people return to work.

Gallery selection and use

After the session we choose the strongest frames, balance color for consistency and prepare a gallery for the uses you described. Web-ready and print-ready files can both be part of the scope. If archive photos are part of the review, we can help match their look with the new images, within the limits of what the originals allow.

What to send when you ask about your year-in-review production

Share your goals, timing and where the content will be used so we can prepare a scoped quote. Whatever you do not know yet, we will ask about.

  • Where the photos will be used
  • Business name, town and locations to photograph
  • Number of people for portraits and group images
  • Milestones or projects to feature
  • Wardrobe, brand or background preferences

Common questions

Can you photograph the whole team in one session?

Yes, with planning. We build a schedule so people come in short turns and return to work. For a larger team, an additional operator can be discussed. Share the headcount and the space available, and we will suggest a layout.

Do you provide images for print and web?

We can prepare galleries for both, depending on the scope. Tell us whether the images will appear in a printed report, on your website or in email, and we will plan the files and cropping for those uses.

Can customers appear in the photos?

They can if they agree and the business arranges permission. We recommend deciding in advance which areas will have customers present, and we can compose frames that keep others out when needed.

How do we get a quote?

Share your goals, timing and where the content will be used so we can prepare a scoped quote. The number of people, locations and deliverables guide the plan.
